Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Repair Operations Project Manager to spearhead our Operations team's efforts in executing contracts with precision. The ROPM is pivotal in planning, executing, and overseeing repair projects from inception to completion, adhering to stringent deadlines and budgets. As the central liaison among Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management teams, the ROPM ensures that all project facets align with cost and schedule targets.
Essential Functions:
Manage the entire lifecycle of repair projects, ensuring strict conformance to timelines and financial plans.
Serve as the primary point of contact, coordinating complex electronic system evaluations, repairs, and test sell-offs.
Work under moderate supervision, setting objectives and explaining operational processes across teams.
Address and adapt to changes within the project scope, contributing to departmental results.
Develop repair and maintenance strategies in collaboration with Area Schedulers and Production Planners.
Conduct lead-time analyses and manage critical paths for hardware builds.
Proactively identify risks to cost and schedule, devising effective mitigation strategies.
Estimate and monitor labor and material sales forecasts.
Track and report on financial, schedule, and technical aspects of projects.
Allocate and oversee necessary resources for repair initiatives.
Manage repair budgets, performing variance analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability in financial or data analysis and monitoring
Demonstrated ability in business and/or technical writing, public speaking, and creating formal presentations
Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and demonstrate ability to analyze data using graphs and pivot tables
Experience using schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project
Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems
This position may require overtime, weekend, holiday and/or second shift work
