Summary of Position:
The BIM Application Specialist uses technical knowledge of BIM software (BIM360/ACC/Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD) to assist the project teams and firm by ensuring consistent implementation and use of BIM processes and software. The BIM Application Specialist works as part of a support team providing daily model management, administration, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise
Creates initial Revit project setup and prepares for the production team
Creates and updates BIM/Revit technical documentation
Provides support model management, administration, and maintenance
Knowledge of Revit family management, shared parameters and tag families is desired
Oversee BIM model integration with other design and construction management software.
Facilitate collaboration and clash detection for a large, multi-discipline project team across multiple companies, organizing/leading BIM coordination meetings.
Project Management
Works with vendors of all disciplines on content download and updates to the office standards
Provides BIM/Revit project kick-off information
Works as part of a BIM/CAD support team to achieve consistent results

Qualifications:
High School diploma.
4+ years relevant working experience.
Possesses working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD,BIM 360/ACC, Navisworks Manage.
Familiarity with visual programming (Dynamo).
Proficiency with Bluebeam in relationship to Revit PDF deliverables.
Working Conditions:
The position requires sitting, walking, and, at times, prolonged standing.
