Summary You will serve as a Supply Technician for NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE. Responsibilities You will conduct research, reconcile quantities, record discrepancies, and makes adjustments as necessary. You will performs mathematical computations while conducting research to validate the accuracy of data collected. You will collect and maintain Hazmat operations and usage data and prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports utilizing N-ERP, Material Management Tool-MB51 (MS Access), and various website/programs. You will perform technical screening on all requested materials to ensure materials meet customer requirements as well as ensuring materials are environmentally compliant You will perform requisition follow-ups and provides status to customers Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing technical supply support work necessary to ensure the effective operation of ongoing Hazmat supply activities. Specific experiences must include preforming following: 1. Applying a thorough working knowledge of governing supply and hazardous material management regulations, policies, methods and procedures to perform a wide assortment of supply transactions, inventory management, and warehouse functions; 2. Perform inventory management and requisition in a variety of automated supply systems; 3. Maintain inventory records and perform physical inventories to ensure accuracy of records; 4. Provide customers with information on the proper handling of hazardous material, maintain up-to-date and accurate records in regards to HAZMAT related materials and processing customer requests for hazardous materials.
