Responsible for accurate and timely application of payer responses to the practice management system. Ensures accurate posting of payments, adjustments, and denials both manually from Explanation of Benefits as well as electronically via ERA files. Responsible for working errored payments from WQ's. Responsible for working other WQ's as assigned. Must be able to read and interpret payer EOB's for denial codes, remark codes, patient responsibility and contractual allowances.
Location: Remote Must have a high school diploma and a minimum of one (1) years posting experience in a physician practice or physician billing office.
Must demonstrate the ability to accurately and independently solve problems by passing a basic skills test.
Must have prior experience reading and interpreting payor Explanation of Benefits.
Must have previous experience with computers and office equipment, as well as, be able to input and retrieve information from a computer, operate an adding machine, fax machine and copier.
Must be able to reconcile applied payments to the bank deposit.
Must have the ability to manage large volumes of work, ability to quickly learn and retain information regarding issues that present themselves.
Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and show a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Pay Range: $31,200-$47,320
