Systems Administrator (CAD Integration)

KBR is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator (CAD Integration) to support Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) efforts related to Aviation Product Lifecycle Management (AvPLM) who will provide CAD Integration Application Administration support for the AvPLM IPT and its customers. This includes maintaining application software, monitoring and troubleshooting issues within the software environment, and forecasting and planning for application capacity and demand, and other tasks. As a CAD Integration SA, the CAD Integration applications (Anark, IPEM, MBDVidia, CADIQ, Creo) will be your primary focus but you may regularly interact with the core AvPLM applications (Siemens Teamcenter PLM suite and eQube MI) as well as a litany of supporting applications. To support this, you will work alongside other sub-team SAs as well as members of the Infrastructure Administration team to perform a variety of application and integration activities. This will include collaboration with the AWS GovCloud hosted system boundary for the AvPLM environments as well as use of AWS Cloud Native Services to perform normal daily duties. Qualified candidates must be customer focused and capable of operating within a dynamic environment in support of initiatives and must have experience with managing software development/customization teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform daily checks of IT systems. Triage, monitor, and work NAVAIR National Help Desk support tickets. Complete Configuration Change Control Board (CCB) requests. Perform general IT requirements, installation, configuration, maintenance, and security in an unclassified network environment for applications, databases, integrations, or infrastructure as assigned. Support Windows Server builds and have the ability to harden systems to be in compliance with DoD RMF policies. Perform security patching and updates on Windows servers, using ACAS/Nessus vulnerability management to maintain compliance. Support Apache and IIS web servers including install, configuration and ongoing support.

  • Support Windows Server performance monitoring including monitoring disk space; and resource utilization, capacity and availability. Perform server application software installation, configuration, and patching for the CAD Integration applications including regular code update deployments, and vendor hot fixes. Provide troubleshooting support using application logs and Windows logs. Coordinate outsourced help requests. Assist with coordination of Maintenance Scheduling. Assist with license and subscription management. Possess the ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Attend and contribute to Teams collaboration meetings for new requirements, troubleshooting/diagnosis, monitoring, and server-side application support.

  • Assist with documenting processes and procedures and keeping documentation updated. Provide weekend and after hours support as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering) plus 4 years experience OR 12 years of experience in a related field in lieu of a degree.

Clearance & Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required. Active Secret clearance or clearance eligibility, Single Scope Background Investigation.

Certification: Security+ CE and an OS (Operating System) Certification
