NIWC Pacific Unmanned Carrier Aircraft (UCA) MQ-25 C4I Integration Test Engineer
Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC Pacific) is looking for a self-directed and motivated individual to join our team as a MQ-25 C4I Integration Test Engineer in support of the MQ-25A Stingray unmanned aerial tanker program. The aircraft is the Navy's new unmanned drone, the MQ-25A Stingray, with a primary mission of aerial refueling and a secondary capability to provide Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) all while being launched and recovered from an aircraft carrier.
Primary work location is Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific in San Diego, CA with additional ability to perform some aspects of the position remotely. This position requires a DoD Secret clearance and approximately quarterly travel to sponsor labs and aircraft vendor sites.
In this position, you will provide engineering and integration support to Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) Code 551 to fulfill PMA-268 Unmanned Carrier Aviation (UCA) requirements, focusing on MQ-25A C4I Integration Testing between the MQ-25A and Ground Control Station utilizing PEO C4I systems. You will help develop test plans, test procedures and conduct live testing to help produce test reports to support the testing of the MQ-25A and future fielding to the US Navy.

Responsibilities
Develop and delivers C4I System of Systems test strategy, schedule, infrastructure and test artifacts
Coordinate and lead the effort of establishing the lab test infrastructure in support of system of systems testing with multiple labs that is connected through Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN)
Responsible for scheduling and securing test resources, tracking the status of test readiness. The test resources includes LAB Cyber Posture, Lab availability schedule, INE Keys readiness, and required test network configurations
Responsible for developing end to end test plans, test procedure, daily status report, quick look report, and test report
Lead and direct test execution across various test labs
Conduct high level network troubleshooting to isolate the source of issues found during testing
Responsible for oversight of the configuration management of the MQ-25 C4I systems at various test labs
Communicates with UCA C4I IPT for any interoperability concerns, issues and risks and documents via UCA C4I and PMA 268 risk management processes
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) technical status and updates to the C4I Team leads and PMA 268 sponsors
Education/Qualifications
Understand CCNA and CCNP level concepts specifically OSI layers, OSPF, Multicast, GRE/DMVPN, UDP/TCP/SIP/RTP protocols.
Experience with Cisco Router and Switch configurations and equipment - 3 years' experience
Backgrounds in ADNS - 3 years' experience
Background working with PMW's (D) - 3 years' experience
Technical Writing ability using Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint to fit the required audience.
Prior experience in writing test plans, test procedure, test reports. - 1 year experience
Ability to design and modify Network Diagrams in Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint. - 1 year experience
Current or able to obtain Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) certification. R
Knowledge in network test tools such as Spirent TestCenter/Avalanche, Wireshark capture with nTAP devices. - 1 year experience
Desired Qualification:
Backgrounds and Unmanned Aircraft Networks - 3 years' experience
Background working with NAVAIR PMAs - 3 years' experience
