Job Description:
This class examines the rules and regulations surrounding the operation of unnamed aircrafts. Students, ages 11-14, will build and program their own drones with the assistance and expertise of the instructor (must be well versed in soldering). After building their drones, they will perform test flights and execute basic maneuvers, as well as learn about some of the applications of drone technology and how they can be functional, as well as fun.
*Drone Pilot 101 will run August 8 - August 12, M-F, from 8:30am-12pm and 1 - 4:30pm. Interested applicants must be available for the entire class. *
Kids on Campus instructors teach half-day courses for one to two weeks during the summer. Instructors plan and implement curriculum for their class. They develop or update a course syllabus. Instructors are responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment and complying with HCC employment policies and MDH camp guidelines.

Additional Information:
Hours Per Week: 17.5 per section (this class has 2 sections) - 35 hours total + prep
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, August 8 - August 12, 8:30am-12pm and/or 1pm-4:30pm
Compensation: Stipend in the amount of $595 per course for this contracted assignment
