Senior Thermal Engineer REMOTE

KBR is looking for a Senior Thermal Engineer for a future opportunity. The Thermal Engineer will provide guidance and direction in developing and maintaining schedules and serve as contributing advisor in providing solutions to the technical approach to task problems.

Responsibilities:
Provide instrument level as well as spacecraft thermal design, modeling, and analysis for on orbit environments
Collaborates with Thermal group members, ensuring that project requirements are satisfied
Participates in internal KBR peer reviews for employees/projects that require engineering oversight before presentation to the customer
Attends peer reviews and provides engineering consultation services, as required
Provide consultation support to proposal development activities
Identify contract opportunities for KBR
Pinpoint complementary services that satisfy customer needs while building upon KBR's core competencies
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or related field
10 + years of experience in the aerospace industry with specific demonstrated technical expertise in thermal/fluid systems
Demonstrated the ability to work independently in the development of thermal models of payloads and perform analyses of instruments
Thermal Desktop, SINDA, TSS
Technical team leadership experience and spacecraft project review experience is desired.
