Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented System Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Life Cycle Contractor Support for the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Capability Instrumentation System (JPMRC-IS) program under the Army TADSS Maintenance Program (ATMP) at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide information system analysis techniques and procedures to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications to support JPMRC exercises and events.
Ensures the JPMRC-IS computer systems are fully operational and available for scheduled support missions.
Work independently in systems engineering and on-site integration/operation.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to, installing software; information system end to end operational testing; installing, configuring interface to systems; providing subject matter expertise to modify and enhance JPMRC-IS operations.
Assist in translating mission requirements and information into solutions using the IS
Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot both all IS system, workstations and server class systems.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Associate Degree in a computer science or systems engineer discipline from an accredited institution, or 3 years of documented experience in an IT or simulations related field.
Must possess an Information Assurance Technical I (IAT I) baseline certificate in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M (e.g., CCNA-Security, A+ CE, Network+ CE, SSCP).
5 years of IT background, network architecture design and implementation (i.e., Windows or Linux OS experience, Servers or Networking Experience)
Must achieve computing environment (CE) certification (e.g. Server 2012, Win10, VMware, etc.) within 6 months of employment in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M.
Must possess a US Secret Security clearance.
Able to obtain US passport.
5 years' experience troubleshooting and maintaining server platforms and network devices
3 years' experience with simulation networks and services/systems
Experience in Simulation or Army Mission Command Systems preferred.
Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license and Post driving privileges.
Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Assist Information Assurance managers with maintaining Risk Management Framework compliance.
Provide input and support to the creation of training related products, along with AAR activities.
Support equipment/facility setup and recovery operations at JPMRC rotations

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
