Summary You will serve as a General Supply Specialist in the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) of NAVSUP FLC PEARL HARBOR. RELOCATION EXPENSES ARE NOT AUTHORIZED Responsibilities At the GS-7 level you will perform developmental duties, as assigned. At the Full Performance Level (GS-9) you will perform the duties below: You will provide a variety of daily routine Class I/9M Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) duties involving all aspects of acquiring subsistence provisions, both Perishable and Semi-Perishable items. You will conduct preliminary analyses of the customers' requested needs. You will coordinate levels of supply and demand with the prime vendor to ensure an accepted fill rate for the customers. You will perform technical research to identify required subsistence items that the prime vendor does not supply. You will support the operations of the Subsistence Prime Vendor Interpreter (SPVI), which includes processing all customer orders/receipts into Subsistence Total Order and Receipt Electronic System (STORESWEB). You will update customer profiles to ensure correct account billing. You will assist the Customer Service Officer by performing duties related to the overall Subsistence Prime Vendor functions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing a knowledge of prescribed supply, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, documentation and instructions applicable to obtaining subsistence and/or perishable or semi-perishable goods/materials to support customer needs and requirements. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include: 1) Assisting in conducting review or preliminary analyses of the customer requests; 2) Assisting in coordinating levels of supply and demand to ensure customer support; 3) Assisting in technical research to identify required items which may require alternative sourcing. 4) Processing orders/receipts into an automated system to ensure correct account billing.
