Overview
Audacy, Inc. is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Financial Operations Team.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements to be filed with the SEC
Provide support in the areas of fixed assets, lease accounting, treasury, and general accruals
Prepare monthly close journal entries
Complete monthly reconciliations balance sheet accounts
Work with external auditors, provide support documentations and explanations
Compile, adjust and evaluate various accruals to ensure their accuracy
Research new accounting pronouncements and their impact on the Company
Properly execute controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley
Software to be used:
Microsoft Excel (Especially Excel)
Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) - General Ledger
Tagetik - Consolidation of financial reporting
Wdesk - Financial reporting
Qualifications
About You:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Understanding and knowledge of US GAAP
3 or more years of accounting or finance experience
Experience interfacing with internal/external customers
Experience in the financial reporting close process
Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and computer skills (Microsoft Excel is a must)
Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relations
Self-starter and strong work ethic
Key skills/attributes: organization, attention to detail, problem-solving and accountability
