Groot Industries, a subsidiary of Waste Connections is currently hiring for a Sweeper Operator/Yard Cleaner located at their recycling facility in Elk Grove Village, IL!
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Schedule will be Monday-Friday 3:00am-3:00pm, Saturday 4am-12pm.
The Utility-Operator will be patrolling the site and adjacent properties for litter.
Promptly remove and dispose of any litter that is observed onsite as well
affected off-site areas.
Use a mechanical street sweeper to clean as often as necessary the adjacent streets impacted by facility truck traffic to control litter and dust.
Maintain a written schedule on-site of all regularly scheduled cleaning operations and shall make such schedule available for review.
Cross-trained in other utility-operator positions to cover as needed when other employees are absent or on vacation.
