Position Summary:
The Applications Engineer will oversee the planning, design, and installation of machinery and equipment in an industrial facility.
Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

Develop and design the process, materials, and techniques for ITW/EAE equipment.
Perform applications customer service through phone, written communication, as well as on-site.
Perform design of experiments (DOE) to determine the best parameters for ITW/EAE equipment and how it applies to customer products.
Experiment and develop new techniques, methods, trends, and processes.
Publish and deliver papers to forums and customers promoting ITW/EAE equipment.
Attend seminars and forums on new trends in Semiconductor and SMT. Document, instruct, and apply this information.
General understanding of competitors' equipment to best transfer applications performance of their equipment to ITW/EAE equipment.
All other assigned duties
Up to 50% travel will be required.
Education/Experience Required:
B.S. in Engineering discipline with 2 -5 yrs. experience in engineering, or other technical discipline, or A.S. in Engineering Discipline with 4+ years' experience in engineering and sales.
