Position Description
As the Senior SME Application Consultant, you will be flexible, well organized, detail oriented, and have experience in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to rapidly understand unique business processes and lead solution developers in delivering new technologies to increase efficiencies which is crucial to providing our clients world class service.
You will build strong relationships and work effectively across multiple levels of the internal and customer organizations. As the SME Application Consultant, you will be able to present technological solutions to non-technical audiences, gather detailed business and functional requirements from groups and individuals. You will enable our team to be the solution provider of choice to our clients.
The Senior SME Application Consultant leads teams to develop and apply advanced methods in the investigation and solution of complex and difficult concept, planning, design, and/or implementation problems requiring expert application of advanced technical knowledge. The SME Application Consultant is often the highest-level technical contributor and is widely recognized for achievement/expertise within his/her field.
In this role, you will:
Lead consulting services that deliver value added solutions to our customers. Specifically:
Mentor developers, grow new business by expanding current programs and gaining new clients
Provide strategic Program Management and project delivery ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are optimized for profit and revenue
Advise customers and delivery team on the evaluation and analysis of client business models which allows the creation of innovative, fast, scalable, manageable, and automated systems resulting in quality products while mitigating customer risks
Demonstrate a deep knowledge of facilities and asset management, and the data and processes that support implementing and supporting an CMMS/EAMS is crucial to the success in this role
Author white papers, requests for proposal responses and presentations for customers
Rapidly understand different business processes and then recommend new technologies to increase efficiencies
Be inquisitive and assertive while building strong relationships and working effectively across multiple levels of the organization
Interact with customers with a strong, positive representation of Serco. This includes attending customer facing meetings both in-person and video teleconferencing
Participate in occasional travel to conferences or customer locations
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level Clearance
15+ years of work experience in TRIRIGA Space Planning, Lease, O&M, Reservations, Capital projects
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience related to the job description listed above
Must be able to demonstrate your expert level in the following software packages: Microsoft Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word experience
Must be able to conduct solid prioritization, troubleshooting capabilities and project management skills
Must be able to author documents and create deliverables for customers
Must be able to track contract deliverables and timelines
Must be willing to travel worldwide up to 10% of the time
Additional desired experience and skills:
Master's degree in a facilities related field such as construction or engineering
Have experience with TRIRIGA as a developer and consultant
Have experience with architecting and successfully delivering large, complex data migrations
Familiarity with ISO 55000 or 55001
Working knowledge of Languages/Scripts, Middleware, Application Servers, Databases, Operating systems, IDE, Web Services, Configuration Tools
Have/maintain valid passport
