Overview
Audacy is looking for a highly-motivated, creative, and versatile Producer/Editor with experience in Graphic Design who can help amplify 2400Sports roster of shows, while simultaneously identifying moments that can be translated to digital video and distributed to O&O, partners, social media platforms, & YouTube channels.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Director, Video Operations -this job will work closely with the 2400Sports content team to develop audiences on multiple platforms and mediums. The Ideal candidate will have a diverse array of skills that include producing, video editing & graphic design as this role will require someone capable of 'doing-it-all' in a post and live production environment.
Top applicants will have a passion for storytelling with a background in producing and editing compelling video content in everything from traditional sports to the intersection of sports and culture. Specifically, you have a sharp instinct of what both passionate and more casual fans will engage with, balanced with a commitment to content analytics and successful SEO tactics. You thrive in a fast-paced, communication-driven team environment, and are on top of all of the latest sports news, including identifying social/Google trends.
Primary Responsibilities:
Identify audio moments to be translated to digital video for national publication.
Create motion graphics in After Effects, including but not limited to L3rds, Fullscreens, Transitions and other dynamic graphic elements.
Gather key elements & assets while structuring video content for quick turnarounds.
Create dynamic promo style short & long form video content.
Digital video publishing, including proper SEO, and title description tags, thumbnails or poster images.
Isolate exclusive interview moments derived from sports talk radio shows & podcasts to be translated into national video for online consumption.
Write headline copy in a style that is appealing for specific audiences (die-hard vs. casual sports fans) around top local/national sports news to capture listening opportunities in real-time
No direct management requirements, but must be willing to work independently or in small groups, must have good time management skills.
Qualifications
More About You:
Required:
BA or BS degree, 3-5 year's experience in digital video for a sports media outlet.
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite - Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects
Must have excellent writing skills, and the ability to drive engagement/growth for both local and national audiences
Has a working knowledge of licensing requirements, Getty, USAT, etc.
Experience in audience development through video publishing.
Extensive knowledge of the sports and sports-culture landscape required, as well as broader knowledge of all teams in the NFL/MLB/NBA
Someone who is passionate about the future of digital media, is a tremendous storyteller, and likes to create video content that stands out in a crowd
