Ferguson is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill an immediate need for a Project Manager!
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish
Plan, direct, and coordinate activities for complex projects through the development of project plans intended to accomplish tasks related to scope, schedule, and budget
Allocate resources and assign tasks to ensure these targets are met
Partner with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plan, budget, and timing
Organize projects and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
Work with other program/project managers to identify risks and opportunities across projects
Coordinate the activities of outside consultant partners to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
Define, analyze, evaluate, and mitigate project risks
Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
Assist the office of change management in defining changes to business processes and procedures that will result from the program
Produce status reports for management and partners to ensure consistent visibility for program and project teams
Communicate with customers (internal/external), suppliers, and/or third-party teams to ensure objectives are met
Schedule and conduct project meetings and facilitates collaboration across multiple cross-functional teams
Identify and remove obstacles and impediments to ensure team objectives are met
Identify best practices and opportunities for process improvements
Check and adjust work methods to solve problems
Serve as a bridge between technical delivery of products/services and business stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree OR 4+ years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
5+ years of experience in project or program management
PMP Certification highly recommended
Experience with ERP, MDM, or PIM implementations
Proven experience in implementing company-wide initiatives
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
