Job Description
HII Mission Technologies is seeking a quality military veteran or IC Agency counterpart to join our team supporting our customer operations in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. This position is for a ID / Risk Management Analyst supporting a complex program, for a Combatant Command (CCMD).
The team of analysts assist with enabling technical and tactical operations based upon their expert assessments of the operating environment and the adversary in conjunction with the common operational picture. The analyst serves as a catalyst for joint collaborative planning and assists all echelons to achieve operational dominance.
Serves as a Risk Management SME for a DoD program that is complex and in a developmental phase. The incumbent must be able to work independently or in small group situations, develop solutions to problem sets, to include alternatives based with thorough knowledge of the situation, globally, as well as internally, utilizing Risk Management principles in recommending viable options.
Under the general direction of an HII project, program, and/or division manager, and within the scope of work, the Analyst will perform multi-faceted sensitive assignments requiring the analysis and synthesis of complex systems and assigned projects supporting the CCMD.
As an ID / RM Analyst, incumbent will serve as the focal point for liaison activities with CCMD program staff, and other military organizations as assigned. SME work closely with the customer to anticipate future requirements, develop and evaluate plans for various projects or program activities that meet the urgent operational needs of the command. Additionally, will use best practices and ingenuity to assess and recommend the feasibility of proposed approaches to solve problems. Incumbent must possess thorough knowledge of applicable operational mission areas and national defense requirements.
Essential Job Responsibilities
The ID / Risk Management Analyst provides advice and assistance, and formally drafts recommendations/plans in supporting the development of agile solutions, consisting of mitigation strategies for all aspects of risk management and due diligence.
The analyst will operate in a Joint and or DoD unique environment.
The analyst will have served in a like position demonstrating experience supporting National, DoD, Component, or the Intelligence Community, including inter-agency.
Maintains and complies with security procedures in the performance of duties.
Provides direction, training, and advice/assistance to other project staff, as a senior expert in a particular field of endeavor.
Familiarity with current DoD policies regarding Risk Management is required.
Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Position supports multiple mission partners; incumbent must be able to travel within the continental US and OCONUS locations as required
Minimum Qualifications
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of intelligence/risk management experience. Experience may be substituted for education
Experience with various techniques applied to risk management methodologies
Maintain knowledge of established Risk Management plans
Experience in determining the operational validity of a customer's Risk Management Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs)
Knowledge of various open source, digital behaviors, and common platforms utilized in one or more Combatant Command's Areas of Responsibility
Experience within the Intelligence Community, CCMDs (J2X/3X), CI/HUMINT/SOF
MUST be a graduate of ONE of the following JCITA courses: Advance Technicians Course (ATC), Advanced Planners Course (APC) or Due Diligence Course (DDC)
MUST possess a current TS security clearance with SCI eligibility and a minimum counterintelligence polygraph.
MUST be willing to submit to FS Poly.
