Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist at the Naval Air Station - Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, Louisiana of NAVSUP FLT LOG CTR JACKSONVILLE OMNR. You will ensure the most efficient and effective methods of accomplishing the department's mission are used within the framework of governing directives and objectives outlined by higher authority. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Supply Management Specialist experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying an extensive knowledge of supply principles, concepts and methodologies including inventory management, storage/warehouse management, quality control and material management in support of a supply program. I have experience identifying and implements continuous process improvement initiatives to reduce or eliminate significant bottlenecks or barriers within a supply program. I also have experience leading subordinate logistics/supply employees, and assigning work to others based on customer priorities, difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees or team members.
