What We're Looking For

Responsible for working with a Project Team to manage a portfolio of contracts that address a variety of design, construction, remediation, replacement, and large infrastructure improvement projects. Will support various client user groups in developing schedules and allocating tasks that facilitate the development of procurement documents. Works directly with design and construction engineers to modify detailed engineering specifications, ensuring the highest quality. Maintains consistency among procurement documents for multiple projects simultaneously. Responsible for keeping the team on task, facilitating meetings, communicating directly with the client, and supporting development of contract requirements in support of the project scope of work and objectives.

Primary Focus Will Include:

  • Collaborates with a team of client and consultant engineers through a prescribed development process for producing procurement documents on a clearly defined schedule.

  • Interacts with clients on task assignments, reviews, and updates.

  • Facilitates meetings with the client and consultant engineers to define processes and procedures to problem solve and drive the procurement documents to completion.

  • Facilitates team meetings, including preparing agendas and notes.

  • Writes content for contracts, specifications, requests for proposals, and other procurement documents.

  • Performs document control tasks, such as setting up and maintaining file structures and file sharing sites. Ensures all produced materials are properly versioned and stored in appropriate location within ProjectWise and SharePoint.

  • Performs quality control tasks, working with team members to verify compliance with stated requirements of the project, client, and company guidelines.

  • Provides training on the processes, procedures, and document control required to develop the procurement documents.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and producing quality deliverables.

  • Strong leadership and organization skills.

  • Ability to collaborate and problem solve with internal team members and personnel from client organizations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to facilitate effective meetings and provide constructive feedback to technical team members.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, ProjectWise, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3 years of experience developing procurement documents or work with other types of contracts

  • Strong Microsoft Word, Adobe, or Bluebeam skills

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working with architectural, engineering, and other technical staff to prepare specifications for construction contracts.

What You'll Need

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates, develops, and facilitates competitive solicitations to adhere to client schedule requirements in partnership with client staff. Ensures that all work is recorded, tracked and follows internal quality standards.

  • Administers contracts, ensuring that the client receives the specified services and/or materials in accordance with the contract terms and within budget and the schedule using the agreed upon methods for delivery.

  • Reviews contract language to ensure that the contracted for services or products received meet defined quality standards.

  • Manages scope, schedule, and budget requests for information or modification while serving as the primary client liaison for contract terms, scope, schedule, and/or budget changes, as needed.

  • Coordinates work with various internal consultant team members including Task Leads, Cost Estimating, Scheduling, DBE/Subcontractor Specialist, and other Subject Matter Experts.

  • Follows established processes and procedures for procurement of goods and services, monitoring post-award performance of successful vendor.

  • Updates and inputs tracking logs and analytical reports on a regular basis.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or relevant degree

  • 5 years relevant experience; procurement, professional services, contract administration
