WSP is currently initiating a search for a Change Management Professional for our Los Angeles office. Be involved in projects with our Project Controls Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
Responsibilities:
Oversight of Finance, Cost and Change Management and Document monitoring and controls
Create budgeting forecasts to support Program and Project activities
Review, monitor and control contractor and consultant budgets and expenditure
Timely identification and analysis of Cost and Project Changes and make recommendations to resolve to the Program Manager
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, cash flows, financial reports, and other financial projections
Develop regular progress reports for the Program Manager and Program Management Office (PMO)
Demonstrate professional acumen in executive level settings
Develop and manage implementation of project controls processes including detailed change management processes and reporting
Analyze various business case scenarios and provide recommendations
Prepare memos, reports, briefings, proposals, and other client deliverables that include spreadsheets, complex graphs, charts, and tables
Provide direct oversight of the review and processing of invoices
Who You Are
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS Business, Finance, or Accounting
Project Management experience, PMP preferred
10+ years' experience in Financial Controls, Finance, or Accounting including experience leading a team of professionals
Transit and rail industry experience preferred.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Experienced with document control processes and systems.
Confident self-starter with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment
Attention to detail and organization while working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and produce project deliverables
Ability to build and sustain relationships with team members, contractors, and clients
Skilled at building and sustaining relationships with all stakeholders
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to prioritize workload and deliverables
Understanding of the commercial aviation industry
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint, Adobe Design and Publisher
Proficient in e-Builder Construction Management Software Preferred
