Job Description:
The Sr Associate, Project Manager will be responsible for participating in the conceptual development of a project and oversees its organization, scheduling and implementation. Plans, directs, coordinates and budgets materials and man-hours. Communicates through subordinate supervisory personnel intentions concerning the alteration, repair or maintenance of ships and ship's systems. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Essential Functions:

May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Perform the requirements of a shipboard or airframe electrician's trade with little supervision or guidance.
Expected to know how to read and interpret drawings, specifications, technical manuals, design notices, etc.
Must know and understand the use of all tools of their trade such as multi-meters, pin crimpers, soldering and expected to accomplish the non-complex tasks associated with electrical installations of cable, military circular connectors, panel box and power terminations, etc.
Use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project)
Able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
Willing and able to travel up to 30%.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through a combination of education and experience.
Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years of prior Supervisory experience with electrical, structural, or Mechanical repair, at least three (3) years with Navy Shipboards.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of six (6) years of prior Supervisory experience with electrical, structural, or mechanical repair, at least three (3) years to include Navy Shipboards.
Must have three (3) years supervisory experience with electrical, structural, or mechanical Navy shipboard repair, modernization, and maintenance projects.
Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with Deltek and Costpoint finance systems.
