This role will process all incoming and outgoing materials and outside processes, identifying, directing and controlling their flow through the system, and provides support service to the production process.
Job Duties:
Responsible for receiving all materials and outside processes.
Order and maintain all shipping supplies.
Prepare all shipments per internal or customer specific procedures.
Responsible for preparing all shipping documentation including packing slips, bills of lading and export documents.
Insure all import/export processes meet ITW Trade Compliance requirements.
Arrange all shipping logistics.
Responsible for movement of materials to the production process and related transactions in the ERP system.
Receive customer Return Material Authorization and route accordingly.
Maintain finished goods inventory and cycle counting.
Complete all necessary data entry in a timely manner.
May be asked to direct the work of others to expedite material flow and provide training as needed.
May improvise and recommend ways to improve the flow of parts through the system.
Meets safety and good 5S practices.
Follow all quality procedures and achieve line of sight requirements.
Conduct job responsibilities within the established accounting internal controls.
Maintains proper record retention per ITW standards.
Able to work within a team.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
1-2 years applicable post high school education and/or related experience
Understand blue prints and documentation systems preferred
Good organization and time management skills necessary
Good verbal communication skills
Forklift experience preferred
