The Large Power Systems Division located in Lafayette, IN has an opening as a Logistics Engineer . In this role you will have responsibility for supporting and maintaining the data integrity of various supply chain systems used in the procurement of purchase finished components. You will also support our PFEP (Plan for Every Part) initiatives through the design and implementation of pull replenishment strategies, implementation of lot size optimization strategies and lead time alignment.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
MRC (Material Replenishment Collaboration) Facility Coordinator for Lafayette. Requires strong system knowledge and ability to analyze data to determine appropriate resolution.
New Supplier setup and orientation of MRC system
Lead teams tasked with designing and implementing pull replenishment strategies in support of Lean initiatives.
Supports lead time rationalization projects focused on alignment of system parameters to supplier lead time and demand requirements.
Responsible for ensuring supply chain related IDP's and SOx controls are accurate and updated in a timely manner. Represents supply chain in ISO/CQMS/SOx related meetings.
Lognet coordinator responsibilities including setting up supplier and facility parameters, approving user access, and updating system records
Basic Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good MS office skills including PowerPoint and Excel
Understanding and working knowledge of various supply chain systems (e.g. MRP, Lognet, MRC, EDI, MESL, FRACS and Pull Manager)
