JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Digital Workplace Solutions organization the Hardware Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for overseeing hardware asset management daily activity. The Hardware Asset Management Analyst will oversee third-party PC warehouse operations, IT asset disposal, and hardware warranty administration for Dell, Panasonic, Microsoft, and HP devices. This position will also serve as the lead asset administrator within our Hardware Asset Management system and assist in lifecycle activities associated with the annual PC Refresh program, including tracking metrics of on-time replacements and returns. Additionally, this position will support cost savings initiatives and associated Governance activity.
This position will implement processes and improvements created by the Hardware Asset Management Process Owner and be a central point of contact for Workplace Support and business partners in relation to PC asset data, warranty information, device procurement, and returns.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Technical Skills Required
Experienced in managing technology assets and asset lifecycle management.
Experience working with Hardware Asset Management systems (Remedy experience a plus)
Experience managing multiple supplier relationships including managed service providers
Experience working with Microsoft System Center Suite of Products; with primary focus on SCCM
Experience working with data analytic tools, with major focus on Power BI
Experience working in complex environments consisting of several domains, forests, and DMZ's with varying trust levels.
Experience with integrations to multiple asset management systems.
Capacity to learn and apply new technologies, skills, and concepts
Ability to research solutions to problems, as well as stay up to date on constantly changing technology
Superb diagnostic, troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of levels of data normalization and resolving data integrity issues
Non-Technical Skills Required
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) as well as technical writing with an end-user focus
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Very disciplined with following up on anomalies and problem situations

Education and Experience Requirements
4-yr Bachelor's degree in a computer science, management information systems, or engineering field is strongly desired. Consideration will be given to highly qualified candidates that have comprehensive experience in managing the costs and lifecycle of IT assets.
3 years of experience in systems management environments and technologies is highly desired for this position
Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP), Certified IT Asset Disposition (CITAD), or other ITAM certifications are a plus.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee warehouse operations through third-party provider. Ensure all assets in warehouse are accounted for and IT Asset Disposal records are accurate and up to date
Reissuance of assets that are returned with remaining useful life through warehouse
Manages all warranty aspects for Dell, Panasonic, Microsoft, and HP PC assets
Maintain and improve the quality and integrity of the asset management data sources
Provide PC refresh oversight for the enterprise under the PC Procurement Modernization (PCPM) model.
Serve as the central point of contact for end-users that have questions when ordering a new device or when end-users do not respond to PCPM communications (orders & returns)
Serve as the central point of contact for asset record updates
Work closely with the Hardware Asset Management Process Owner, Workplace Support analysts and other key stakeholders to understand new & improved reporting needs and deliver new solutions proactively.
Contributes to the methodology and oversight for procurement and billing of Hardware products
Provides general guidance and training around the use of the internal Asset Management systems and tools through whitepapers, presentations, Tech Tips, Knowledge Base articles, consulting, etc.
Drive cost savings through creating operational efficiencies and promoting transparency & accountability of PC assets
Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Critical Success Factors (CSFs) that demonstrate and track process effectiveness and efficiency
Evaluate and analyze KPIs and CSFs regularly to drive process improvements
Manage updates and improvements to the processes, working with and through others
Participate and support all activities regarding Hardware Asset budgeting, monthly accounting reviews and audits, financial analysis, and metrics.
Creates communication plans and drafts communications and documentation of the use of the Asset Management tools
