Job Title: Senior Marketing Communication Writer Location: Primarily Remote (if located within 50 miles of office location, some time in the office may be required)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, must accommodate 9a-5p EST

How you will make an impact:

The Senior Marketing Communications Writer is responsible for providing advanced creative and technical advice and writing support for the development and implementation of highly complex marketing communication materials.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Consult with business leaders to identify business objectives.

  • Evaluates the effectiveness of communication plans and materials, and recommend digital communication strategies and implementation approaches that support usability principles, testing methodologies, and search engine optimization.

  • Researches write, edit, and review content for use across multiple channels, from marketing print to digital collateral programs, and Researches, writes, edits, and reviews multimedia content for digital programs campaigns with a focus on digital (social, video, email, web, etc.) including writing to brand voice guidelines.

  • Collaborates with designers and other marketing team members to develop and implement digital communication solutions.

  • Ensures all digital solutions and interactive experiences meet internal and external business and legal standards and follow appropriate corporate standards, guidelines, and approval processes.

  • May assist in developing content for traditionally printed programs (marketing collateral, trade publication advertising, direct mail, etc.) as needed.

  • Identifies improvement/efficiencies that support operational excellence, and supports business initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Understanding and/or experience in healthcare or managed care marketing.

  • Omnichannel and/or digital marketing experience.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, meeting daily deadlines/deliverables.

  • Experience with white papers, pitch decks, and Workfront is a plus.

  • Experience in healthcare or managed care preferred.

  • Knowledge of value based solutions a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.

  • Ability to pivot quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Background in creative strategy, concepting and implementation.

  • Experience understanding and writing in a brand voice for multiple audiences.

  • Strong copyediting and proofreading skills.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with experience working in a team environment.
