We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as an Inventory Record Coordinator in York, PA.
The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. As an Inventory Record Coordinator, you will research and analyze facility claims. You will also coordinate the efforts of employees involved in making stock record adjustments, investigate and analyze stock record adjustments, determine the need for stock record audits and perform associated duties.
Job Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Creates and conducts training for hourly associates, salary and support personnel, and Management. Trains new employees in daily job routines and instructs employees in adjustment procedures
Assists employees in resolving the more complex job-related problems encountered daily and coordinates resolution with Inventory control, Operations, and other Parts Departments.
Prepares journal entry data, investigates significant variances and contacts others to clarify, verify or resolve errors in information. to research, analyze, and record adjustments for internal and external claims and other job functions relating to quality.
Prepares journal entry reflecting increase or decrease of inventory quantities and submits to Corporate Records Accuracy Management for review.Answers inquiries and provides data related to journal entry information.
Reviews manually prepared or mechanically generated stock record adjustment documents for accuracy and completeness.
Prepares monthly reports and for approval and journal entry removals which impact facility and network metrics.
Analyzes trends and determines record adjustments needing revision. Coordinates stock record counts with other facilities and ensures adjustments have been made when errors have been detected.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
2+ years prior job experience in Availability & Inventory Management, Transportation & Engineering or Customer Services, storeroom and/or manufacturing.

Distribution Requirements Planning, ANTARES Parts Ordering, Exacta, Salesforce, ASN (Advance Ship Notice) and Grief for SPM (Service Parts Management) Facilities
Excellent oral/written communication skills, teamwork/cooperation, and PC skills (excel, sharepoint, etc)
