This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.ResponsibilitiesFTI is looking for an Project Scheduling professional (with Space SystemsCommand experience) to join our growing organization. We are looking forsomeone with keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills. The positionwill support the development of an Enterprise-Wide Ground Systems IntegratedMaster Schedule (IMS) to support development and integration efforstwithin US Space Force (USSF) mission areas. This work will primarily beperformed in Colorado Springs, CO with minimal travel to Los Angeles AirForce Base in El Segundo, CA. This is a subject matter expert whose primaryresponsibilities include:Responsible for working closely with technical experts, project leads andproject managers in planning, creating, and managing project schedules.Managing the live schedules and IMS and ensure that they are kept up to date.Working with mission partner and other subcontractors to gather scheduling andmilestone input for long-term IMS'.Lead process control, procurement, subcontracting, risk management,assignment coordination, interaction with customers, and activity duration.Be the go to expert with for enterprise development of program scheduling.Publish high level integrated master schedules in accordance with therequirements or needs of the necessary stakeholders.Resolve and mitigate potential schedule issues.Strong expertise with Microsoft Project, One Pager Pro, MilestonesProfessional, Jira Portfolio and/or Project Scheduling tools.Experience in planning and supporting project scheduling efforts as well asworking with project teams.Apply a Systems Engineering/space systems perspective and knowledge toschedule planning and issue resolution.Your experience should allow you to see potential schedule and risk issues asyou plan/manage the IMS.Attend leadership meetings and provide input and preparation as required.Travel Requirements: 10%Note: This role is not just for someone who is a basic scheduler or juniorPM. You will be expected to have an strong understanding of MS Project anbdother scheduling tools.Education/QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Engineer, Program Management or similar(Master's Degree Preferred)Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a governmentsecurity clearance, TS-SCI strongly preferred10+ years actively working as a Scheduler (background in Space Systemspreferred to include sensors, space vehicles and ground stations).Previous experience at SSC is strongly preferred.Understanding of Agile development process and knowledge of how to schedulesprints and product increments.Ability to work independently with geographically dispersed teamExcellent Communications skills (written and oral)Ability to easily and comfortably interact with all levels in the Govt. andwith mission partners/subcontractors.Persistence and Commitment to work with the team to get the job done.Expertise in MS Project, One Pager Pro, Milestones Professional, MSExcel and other MS Office toolsFTI is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
