Description

This role will be responsible for program management of Research, Development and Engineering programs within Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) service BU application segment to support Applied Materials' customer install base in the semi-conductor industry. Engage cross-functionally to drive product vitality including all new service product development and continuous improvement aspects of the business working to exceed customer and business expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for program management of Research, Development and Engineering programs within ALD SBU including new service product development performance.

  • Partners with business leadership and the product business to develop service product roadmaps and manage product portfolios/investments.

  • Lead programs to meet time, product performance and cost objectives continually optimizing business outcomes.

  • Drive cross functional engagement within the program to support overall program on time delivery and success, partner with operation team for field readiness.

  • Lead the product architectural development and refinement to deliver to customer and program objectives.

  • Lead program management rigor including Gantt charts, risk assessments, design reviews etc.

  • Lead inclusion of DFx principles within the development process

  • Lead product configuration and develops service should cost model for BU new production introduction

  • Lead sampling field quality design and processes, working closely with cross functional resources

  • Collaborate with technology partners and support new product related strategic sourcing needs partnering with strategic sourcing/supply chain for their respective program

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams; coordinate with and present to matrixed stakeholders

  • Communicate program progress / execution to upper management and stakeholders

Required Skills, Competencies, Experience & Education

  • Master or Ph.D. in Science or Engineering related degree

  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in the Semiconductor Industry

  • Materials, deposition, plasma, systems experience and domain expertise, including physical vapor depiction (PVD), chemical vapor deposition (CVD), and atomic layer deposition (ALD)

  • Semiconductor applications and services experience

  • Extensive new product introduction experience with a performance-based track record

  • Strong program management and product lifecycle management experience

  • Customer focused - Voice of Customer (VOC) domain expertise and strong customer acumen

  • Positive can-do hands-on entrepreneurial attitude that builds support for RD&E needs

  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal presence that extends confidence and humility

  • Ability to effectively manage and deliver to multiple Key Performance Indices (KPIs)

  • Critical thinking and ability to influence and communicate effectively with multiple internal stakeholders (Sales, finance, marketing, strategy, management)

U.S. Salary Range:

$140,000.00 - $192,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
