Position Description
Join our team and new contract award supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Homeland Defense - Integrated Air Defense Systems (HD-IADS) mission. The Network Administrator will provide on-going administration and support of the Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN). Work performed at the Joint Air Defense Operations Center - Development (JADOC-D) at the Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Primary responsibilities include:
Manage and configure network devices such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and APs
Interface with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance
Develop network documentation to include network diagrams, topologies, and dataflow diagrams
Maintain network security and ensures compliance with security policies and procedures
Complete Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Checklists to provide Information Assurance with necessary artifacts for RMF compliance
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification (CCNP, CCIE)
Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
