Summary You will serve as a Materials Handler Leader in the Material Management Department of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK. Responsibilities You will be responsible for working with, training, and providing technical instructions to lower graded personnel. You will relay assignments and instructions from the supervisor to the workers and determine which assignments can be done concurrently and which must be delayed; as well as setting deadlines and priorities. You will check work upon completion to determine the supervisor's instructions have been followed. You will receive, handle, store, and issue HAZMAT in accordance with prescribed procedures. You will operate various types of Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) to include forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated high rise stacker lists. You will operate a pick-up having a gross vehicle weight of up to 10,000 pounds.
