Manage full life-cycle contract maintenance processes for the administration of franchise related agreements, amendments, renewals, and terminations for Inspire Brands portfolio companies. Requires interaction and communication with brand franchisees, field and corporate staff, and Inspire and portfolio brand management to secure relevant information for contract development, contract and regulatory compliance, issues identification, recommendations and decisions. Monitor and manage all licensing activity through maintenance of databases and tracking reports, follow up and process flow for each transaction. Assist in the efforts in supporting the processes, procedures and accountability standards associated with the preparation, execution, and ongoing maintenance of all franchise related agreements, and the onboarding documentation and record keeping processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the administration of and compliance with all aspects of the franchise related development and license/franchise agreements and franchise disclosure requirements.
Assist in the preparation of the Franchise Disclosure Document (-FDD-) and related amendments, exemptions and quarterly reports.
Update all contract related information into applicable databases and save executed documents to correct digital files.
Prepare all required transaction documents for new development, upcoming openings, transfers, amendments, terminations and closings.
Assist with the franchise administration activities for the brand Business Development Committees, including the development of agenda items for any potential franchising compliance issues and requests from franchisees.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Minimum: 4 year degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Minimum: Paralegal Certification
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES:
Detailed knowledge of all aspects of franchise administration.
General proficiency and understanding of the franchising industry and FTC regulatory compliance for the franchising industry.
Experience in management of team members.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, database management, FRM and Oracle.
Strong written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to successfully form business relationships with franchisees.
Exceptional customer focus, approachability, organizations skills and ability to consistently prioritize, delegate, coordinate and satisfy numerous competing demands and successfully achieve deadline-driven results and effectively achieve business objectives.
Proven ability to be open to change and agile in a dynamic environment with a strong sense of urgency.
Limited travel may be required.
