Today, Keepsake Ornaments are among the most beloved and widely collected in the world.What your role entails and how you'll contributeAs aProduction Designerin on theOrnaments team, you will create product SKUs for our ornaments lines by integrating creative elements such as 3D modeling, digital color application, 3D output using rapid prototyping methods. You'll have accoutability for projects from concept, through bid packs, and work in partnership with our development team through final product approvals. In this role, strong digital skills, aesthetic judgment, decision-making, and problem solving skills are essential. You must also be technically proficient to ensure that all design deliverables in the program meet technical, color and reproduction requirements.In addition to the creative design phase, you will assemble and/or coordinate bid pack activities and assembly of final deliverables, such as technical drawings, color call out sheets, clean 3D prototypes, lettering, and process explanations.You must understand and closely follow procedural guidelines across a variety of processes and formats to ensure accurate and complete digital and physical deliverables are released on time.You will also collaborate with and mentor other 3D designers and artists to ensure successful product creation and bid pack execution. The Production Designer is capable of completing a range of 3D modeling assignments, from basic to very complex. You will actively engaged with the Product Development Director, Studio Art Directors, and peers in maintaining a productive, engaged, flexible, and resilient creative environment.This role includes working with leading licensed content and also original Hallmark content, so the opportunities are broad and exciting, and your creativity has endless possibilities.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSThe following is required to be considered for this role:Bachelor's Degree OR 4 years of professional work experienceExperience in a creative visual arts field, such as Illustration, 3D Design, Multimedia, or Graphic DesignExperience sculpting in a digital 3D program (ie: ZBrush, Modo, Freeform, etc.)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSYour resume and portfolio will stand out if you have:A creative portfolio that demonstrates:Strong visual creative and conceptual thinking skillsStrong aesthetic judgement and strong use of trends, color, and design principlesStrong technical and production capabilitiesA range of 3D modeling and rendering capabilities, from simple to very complexPrior 3D product development experienceWork experience in a team environmentCommercial application of 3D design, graphic design, illustration, and letteringProficient at 3D digital prototyping using 3D rendering programs, color application using 3D paint programs, and skilled at using rapid prototyping equipmentSkilled at producing accurate final product outputsExperience using Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365 SuiteOutstanding communication and collaboation skillsFlexible and adaptableAdditiona
