Contracts Accountant | Tampa, FL
Description:
The specialist reviews, monitors and enters downstream contracts and agreements for the department, while ensuring compliance from a risk perspective in the areas of legal, insurance and limits of authority. This candidate coordinates with branch management and the company's legal department, when necessary, for any changes to contracts and agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviews and prepares purchase agreements, subcontracts and other contracts as required
Monitors the status of all pending contracts, and organizes and tracks all fully executed agreements
Collects insurance requirements, release of liens and other qualifying documents needed for compliance with vendors, customers, etc.
Analyzes proposed changes to terms and conditions and coordinates approval by branch management and legal department, as determined by the Company's limits of authority
Enters and commits all purchase agreements, subcontracts and vendor contacts into Viewpoint
Collect downstream insurance requests
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred
Experience working with contracts preferred
Must have strong attention to detail
Each admin has 2-3 branches they work with and handle all the contracts for each.
Will have to communicate with branches to work together on making sure everything is correct and on track
