Position Description

The STEP Rotational Program provides early career employees the opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping and delivering better public services while providing diverse experience, exposure, and development opportunities. As part of the rotational program, you will participate in three different roles across 24 months. In these roles, you will be fully immersed in diverse opportunities that are personally curated to help support your long-term career goals at Serco.

Throughout each placement, you will build on your ability to establish customer and colleague relationships, work with talented people, engage, and influence others, understand and shape business analytics and information, solve complex problems and communicate effectively. You will be asked to apply lessons learned to new challenges and apply problem solving techniques to innovate our ways of working. This cohort of the STEP Rotational Program begins on June 13, 2022 and concludes on June 14, 2024. In this role you will be a full-time non-exempt employee eligible to participate in the Serco Benefits Program.

In this position you will rotate betweenthe following roles: Project Administrator I, Buyer I, and Contracts Administrator I.

Project Administrator I (Ludlow, MA)

  • Provides data management and analysis techniques for control and maintenance of assigned projects configuration data. Support to include downloading of task order data from government web sites as required.

  • Development of Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) items, delivery of CDRL documents via government web sites, and reporting of CDRL status to the program team.

  • Tracking of hardware delivery documents and Government furnished material via DD-250 and DD-1149 forms.

  • Track and manage task software and software licenses for delivery to the customer.

  • Create and maintain program serial number tracking spreadsheets for use in configuration reporting to the customer.

  • Support internal program reporting and reviews as directed by program managers.

Buyer I (Herndon, VA)

  • Provides data management and analysis techniques for control and maintenance of assigned projects configuration data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Preferred fields of study: Business, International Studies, or a related field of study.

  • 0-2 years' professional post-grad work experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Self-motivated with a strong work initiative and attention to detail.

  • Strong customer service, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating in a team environment.

  • Passion for learning with a wide degree of creativity and curiosity
