Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist in the Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the receipt, storage, issuance and transfer of material from warehouse storage locations to staging areas awaiting transportation to end use customers You will be responsible for managing storage of aircraft materials. You will develop and implement a plan to correct any storage discrepancies Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing Supply Management work applying a broad knowledge of supply principles, concepts and methodologies in support of Inventory management, receiving and storage, quality control, aviation support and Pack-up kits. You have experience coordinating the technical and administrative operations of warehousing operations while considering programming and budgeting requirements. You have experience using an automated supply database to perform inventory Management functions. Provide guidance, advice and assistance to others on procedures or processes. Examples of specialized experience may include 1) Direct the inventory and assembly of Pack up Kits for issue to required squadron; 2) Develop, review, maintain and implement warehouse Standard Operating Procedures and Internal Control Aids supporting financial Improvement and Audit Readiness compliant policies and procedures; 3) Develop and implement a plan to correct any discrepancies.
