Position Description

As the Test Analyst, you will support US Navy shipbuilding efforts in Pascagoula, MS.You will be integrated into the shipbuilding team overseeing the construction of the newest US Navy ships and provide technical guidance to the Navy's ATT test team leadership. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors.
This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain or transfer a DoD Secret level clearance post-employment.
In this role, you will:
Monitor installation of assigned combat systems and C4I equipment and ensure readiness to test.
Develop, review and update test procedures for assigned systems to ensure they meet latest Navy guidance, drawings, and contract specification requirements.
Provide input to the total ship test management services to include preparation of technical briefs on key concerns.
Conduct Combat Systems related trial card recording, tracking, coding, and engineering analysis to include identifying discrepancies and developing technical requirements needed for closure.
Execute testing of systems from stage 2 through 7 for assigned systems.
Provide input for required reporting for system and compartment readiness to test, CDRL reviews, and test reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
The ability to obtain and maintain an Active DOD Secret Clearance.
US Citizenship
High-school Diploma/GED
5 years of relevant experience (Experience with electronic systems installation and testing preferably with US Navy Combat Systems highly preferred)
Experience with ship construction techniques and methods.
Knowledge of Combat Systems or C4I equipment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other office tools.
Physically capable of working in industrial environment requiring long periods of standing, walking, and moving up and down ladders.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.
Additional desired experience and skills:
An Active DOD Secret Clearance
Former sailors with an Engineering Technician, FC, or similar background a plus.
