Overview
Team Overview: Lending Strategy & Operations (LSO) is a diverse, multi-skilled team that is focused on Lending-wide programs, special projects, and initiatives that foster a horizontal collaboration with a focus on exceptional member and employee experience. Our team of professionals has vast and varied experience in areas of program and project management, strategy, communications, engagement, and operational logistics.
The Summer Associate will gain insight into department-wide strategic planning, change management, and other operational programs. Assist in support of strategic data analysis, automation of processes, report generation, process mapping, and other duties as assigned.
Projects will be dependent on what the team is working on next year.
The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2024 and ending in August 2024. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2024 or later.
Responsibilities
Provide support to the assigned department; may work on small projects or portions of larger projects
Support business strategy and initiatives within the business unit and/or across the organization
Assist and collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks/assignments
Present data findings from research and analysis to aid in strategic decision-making
Maintain professionalism in all interactions, placing internal customer services and deliverables as a priority
Provide comprehensive day-to-day operational and strategy support
Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of internal strategic programs
Perform other duties as assigned
Support organizational, employee engagement, and department-wide events
Responsible for the design and maintenance of the department website
Qualifications
Required
Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university
Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Effective skill in maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment to make sound decisions
Ability to adapt to new technologies
Effective skill in the use of Excel and PowerPoint
Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to create and maintain internal website
Desired
Effective skill in data analytics
Experience in web, digital media, graphic design development, and production
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM EST
