Job Summary:
As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will improve quality, velocity, safety, and cost metrics by aiding the assigned department in the form of data analysis, investigation, problem solving, and process validation.in Seguin, Texas.
What you will do:
Provide technical support through data analytics and problem solving
Train, coach and provide feedback to the Operations team on the assembly process
Identify and track key metrics related to assigned department or function
Define and optimize assembly process steps and standard work based on best practice
Review assembly processes to keep team focused on key priorities and improvement objectives
Perform audits to ensure materials, processes, and tools conform to quality standards
Submit and assist with the resolution of continuous improvement ideas
Provide information to supervisors and managers about processes within assigned area
Lead and facilitate small business team activities within assigned work area
Respond to engineering related line calls to support the assembly process
Investigate and resolve Manufacturing Engineering defects and other quality improvement initiative
Participate and support Failure mode analysis such as safety and process FMEA activities
Develop and improve work instructions and standard work for the assembly processes
What you will have:
Self-Starter with an attention to detail
Must function well within a multi-functional team environment
Strong verbal and communication skills
Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook experience
What would make you a top candidate:
2-year degree or 3 years of manufacturing experience
Experience reading blueprints and reviewing 3D models
Experience with diesel engine assembly processes
Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Payrate starting at $20.00 an hour
40-hour work week with potential for overtime
