Overview
Audacy is searching for a Video Editor with outstanding video editing and motion graphics skills to assist with the creation of social and promotional videos for use across Audacy's social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), editorial, owned marketing channels and paid media. This person conceptualizes and creates video content using Audacy's audio and brand assets with visual storytelling to drive engagement on social platforms, support Audacy's direct to consumer audio strategy, and amplify live national events.
We're looking for someone who can bring creativity and quality to both short and long-form video with fast turn-around times.The ideal candidate has prior experience in either audio and streaming services or another music and entertainment brand and is able to tell a compelling story, optimized for the right audience and social media channel.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Concept:
Present video concepts, scripts and storyboards to key marketing, creative, social and other business stakeholders
Pitch content ideas and video concepts based on popular audio or trending social stories
Participate in monthly creative briefings led by marketing team
Develop video concepts, graphics and scripts that align with Audacy brand attributes, voice and visual guidelines
Create:
Produce short and long-form videos for use on social platforms with quick turnaround on a daily basis, including but not limited to: trending news and sports videos, motion graphics, and audiograms for podcasts and other audio content
Identify engaging moments and segments originating from our radio programming and exclusive digital programming and transform them into a produced video for digital consumption
Create Audacy brand and other promotional videos for use across Audacy owned and paid channels
Assist with live events as needed; shifts may include occasional nights and weekends
Optimize :
Take video concepts and version based on best practices for key media channels and social platforms
Partner with social marketing and analytics teams to measure engagement rates, video and business KPIs (video views, click-thru rates and listening metrics), and social video monetization
Qualifications

Required & Preferred:
BA or BS degree
3+ years video editing, animating, scripting and storyboarding entertainment, music or sports digital content
Expert on video best practices and optimizing on social media platforms: Facebook (Creator Studio), Twitter (Media Studio), Instagram, TikTok,Snap, YouTube
Familiar with video monetization on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
Prior experience working for an audio, streaming, music, or entertainment brand preferred
Impeccable grammar, spelling and attention to detail
Quick and proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere, Photoshop, Audition, and After Effects
Great communication skills - ability to keep the team informed on the status of your projects and respond to requests quickly
Proactive thinker with ability to multitask and are able to shift gears quickly and easily if needed
