Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead critical supplier performance improvements in the hose and coupling category.

  • Complete rough cut capacity plans (RCCP's) for hose and coupling suppliers.

  • Identify actions and manage implementation of actions to close capacity gaps to meet growth targets.

  • Improve end-to-end supplier performance through increasing capacity, improving supply chain responsiveness, and raising performance standards, whilst maintaining high levels of quality.

  • Identification and development of hose and coupling suppliers to align with growth initiatives.

  • Ensure effective management of hose and coupling suppliers within new product development projects and existing product improvement cycles.

  • Evaluate and develop supplier capability to meet requirements for Supplier Excellence Recognition.

  • Collaborate with lead SDE to develop and execute quality improvement strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in technical field; 5 years of job-related experience in lieu of degree

  • 3+ years of experience in a supplier facing role (structured root cause corrective action problem solving techniques and continuous improvement)

  • Data analysis experience in Excel (intermediate)

Top candidates will also have:

  • Experience in completing capacity analysis

  • Knowledge of the tools and techniques of 6 Sigma methodology as well as Lean Manufacturing

  • Knowledge and experiences of Quality/APQP including: PPAP process, FMEA, Control Plan, and TFC

  • Experience using Power BI

  • Familiarity with company policies such as MQ4006 and MQ4007

This position is located in Mossville, IL

This position requires up to 50% travel, may be higher during supplier recovery.
