Job Description:
Supporting the Manufacturing department, the Sr. Spvr, Operations Mgmt will be responsible for organizing and leading Mechanical Assembly personnel on day-to-day production requirements that includes scheduling, budgeting, quality, and performance. Team will consist of 10-15 direct reports. Successful candidate must be a self-starter and familiar with mechanical assembly and processes. Candidate must be capable of understanding policies and procedures and executing them in a manufacturing setting. Candidate must possess the ability to communicate in a positive and persuasive manner, supporting departmental organizations.
Essential Functions:
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Familiarity with engineering documents and planning processes a plus.
Must have the ability to manage in a production manufacturing environment with responsibilities to schedules, budgets and quality objectives.
Must possess strong leadership skills and people skills.
Must possess the ability to multi-task and perform his or her duties in a high-pressure atmosphere.
Proven team player with outstanding customer relationship skills.
Work overtime as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
1+ years experience Microsoft Office products to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Management of cost and scheduling experience preferred.
