Program Management Support Analyst

We have an opening for a Program Management Support Analyst to support an active contract with the U.S. Navy in the Washington, DC area on our Carriers contract supporting the acquisition of Carriers.
We are seeking motivated individuals to provide Earned Value Management and programmatic support to one of our NAVSEA customers. Come bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors.
In this role, you will:
Provide comprehensive program management support for a variety of activities related to the acquisition, modernization, and life cycle management support of Aircraft Carriers and their embedded systems. This effort includes direct support for managers of ship construction, overhaul, modernization, and inactivation and disposal programs, as well as programs to deliver key Aircraft Carrier-based technologies such as aircraft launch and recovery systems, aviation support systems, integrated warfare systems, combat systems, C4I systems, and integrated networks.
Provide comprehensive Earned Value Management (EVM) support to include Contractor Performance Report (CPR) analysis, EVM process development, independent EAC development and analysis, Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) support, EVM training, and Contractor Software and Data Report (CSDR) analysis as directed by the COR
Review and develop analytical and technical input needed in order to evaluate documentation and development of briefs to ensure accurate, timely and essential information is provided to decision makers.
Prepare Unclassified and Classified briefs for audiences up to and including the Flag level.
Prepare for meetings and specified Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
Set high personal standards for performance/conduct.
Demonstrate ability to be a team player, work well with others, and contribute positively to the work/team environment while continually seeking ways to enhance contribution to the team.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A current or active DoD Secret security clearance.
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field, however in lieu of a degree, Serco will consider a candidate with three or more years' experience directly supporting a Navy customer in a business or financial capacity.
A successful candidate should have knowledge of the Navy's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution processes and policies.
One year of past experience supporting a DoD customer as a financial analysist is desired. Must be familiar with EVM.
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
Earned Value Management
Budget Automation and Process Improvement
Cost Analysis
Data Management and Analysis
Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Up to two year's work experience within the DoD, or the Armed Services.
A strong Microsoft Office skillset is essential, especially with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
The ability to work both in a team environment and independently, and often under short, multiple deadlines.
Additional desired experience and skills:
Preferred work experience in the Navy and specifically within PEO CVN or Carriers in general.
Knowledge of DoD policies, or NAVSEASYSCOM policies and procedures.
