As an Inventory Analyst, you will perform a variety of logistic support activities in the areas of inventory reconciliation.
In this role you may be expected to:
Review inventory counts
Utilize problem solving skills and analyze data to make adjustment determinations (in SAP)
Validate material counts in the warehouse
Perform Counts
Perform RCCA investigations on inventory discrepancies
Provide reports on finding for management
Perform SLED (shelf-life expiration date) audits
Issue and Reconcile Bin Cycle Counts in SAP
Work with cross functional internal/external teams as well as suppliers and transportation contacts to drive inventory accuracy improvements
Basic Qualifications :
2-year degree required in a business-related program including operations, engineering, supply chain, accounting and purchasing. Current enrollment in an accredited 4-year college degree program at a Junior level status is considered equivalent to a 2-year degree OR 2 years of related experience in Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics.
Must have intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) in Microsoft Excel
Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation:
Willing and able to sit/stand for prolonged periods
Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Top candidates will also have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Inventory Control experience
SAP software experience with inventory transactions
Supply Chain experience
Team Lead or supervisory experience
Basic problem solving/data analytical skills
Additional information: Resumes are highly encouraged for all applicants. Failure to attach a resume may lead application to not be considered. This is a 2nd shift hourly position starting at $20.47/hour plus 8%-night shift premium located in Athens, GA. No relocation benefits are available.
2nd shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 3 pm-11:30 pm
*Overtime is required as needed to support business needs.
