GENERAL SUMMARY
Under general department supervision, and following established policies, procedures and regulations, performs/assists various technical procedures, maintenance or exams. Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to, applying and analyzing holter monitors, EKG's, treadmill studies, and echocardiograph charge posting. Occasionally may be required to take charge/supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains established department policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety guidelines.
Performs general technical procedures under the direction of the designated supervisor.
Performs other duties as assigned.

None
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must have completed or be willing to complete a 12 week monitor surveillance/telemetry course from an accredited school of health professions.
Basic knowledge of Cardiac Monitoring Surveillance and techniques such as performing EKG's and scanning holter monitors preferred.
At least one year of previous pediatric and/or cardiac health related experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Possible exposure to infectious agents when handling specimens or hazardous materials but potential for personal harm or injury is reduced when proper safety and health precautions are followed.
