Looking for an Engineering Equipment Senior Technician position that includes working with experienced multi-functional logistics team supporting mission critical operations? Bring your expertise to this great opportunity in Williamsburg, VA.
This Serco opportunity supports the US NavyDeployable Medical Systems and Material Managementcontract andresponsible for the overall management of the CEE program and ensure Contractor compliance with contract requirements.
In this role, you will:
Solve unusually complex problems associated with CESE, CEEI, Containers, Shelters, and Advanced Base Functional Component (ABFC) tool kits.
Use referencing manufacturer's manuals or similar documents.
Recommend alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
Maintain and manage Deployable Medical systems to ensure the sailors are able to perform their missions successfully.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
A high school diploma/GED.
8+ years' of hands-on engineering equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance experience, including servicing of CESE, CEEI, Outfitted Containers, Shelters, and ABFC tool kits.
Experience with microprocessor and PC based equipment.
Experience with database management systems.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Additional desired experience & skills:
A bachelor's degree
10+ years' of experience in logistics/maintenance planning
Experience with military service engineering equipment maintenance policy, procedures and terminology is desired. US Navy experience is recommended.
Preferred:
Having a current Common Access Card for the Military Installation at theCheatham Annex Naval Base where this positionresides on a military installation or within a government facility is preferred.
A current and active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
