With passion, skill and collaboration you can make an impact on the success of the bank, our customers and your own career!Under the direction of the VP of Consumer Lending, the Consumer Lending Specialist will perform a wide range of administrative duties and responsibilities to support the following Consumer Lending functions: Posting loan payments, quoting payoffs, preparing and funding construction draws, handling wire requests as needed, working on aged exceptions and ticklers for the department, pulling maturity reports, following up on past due accounts, record keeping, other department projects, backup for loan document creation, and other clerical duties related to the needs of the department as needed.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:Ability to operate a computer proficiently with knowledge of various word processing and spreadsheet programs, including the Bank's internal computer software programs.Excellent interpersonal skillsVerbal communication skills as evidenced by the ability to interact both face-to-face and over the telephone with customers and co-workers. Demonstrated ability to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers and co-workers.Written communication skills that represent the bank in a positive and professional manner.Capable of exercising discretion, applying common sense, and using good judgment.Solid math and/or accounting skills.Strong attention to detail.Well-organized with good time management skills.Must have solid analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage and maintain confidential information.Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment.Ability to travel to other Bank locations and trainings as needed.Ability to comply with all requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act that are applicable to this position, as well as, with the Bank's BSA Policy/Program and procedures. Employee will also participate in BSA training at least annually.QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Post high school education. Associates (2-year) degree preferred.Experience:2-3 years consumer/ mortgage experience, construction disbursement experience, collections background, general office administration experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience preferred.
