Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA. Responsibilities You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of the full financial audit process. You will formulate and execute lower level project plans to support financial audit related activities. You will review incoming audit work efforts using multiple tracking tools/systems in support of both internal and external auditor engagements You will review and conduct test of design and test of effectiveness across multiple financial business segments supporting audit. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying knowledge of budgetary policies, procedures, and regulations to perform assignments concerning financial management, accounting, or budgeting. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing internal controls within automatic systems; 2) Assisting managers in the development of effective policy and internal controls within organizational processes; 3) Evaluating operational, financial, and automated system deficiencies/problems to provide corrective action; 4)Interpreting/documenting/implementing financial processes; and 5)Providing project management skills to perform sample audits of internal control compliance. FOR GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying knowledge of budgetary policies, procedures, and regulations to perform assignments concerning financial management, accounting, or budgeting. Specialized experience may include performing the following: 1) Analyzing costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management in order for recommendations to be made; 2) Formulating budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities; 3) Reviewing and evaluating budget requests, obligations and expenditures; and 4)Assisting with internal audits.
