Overview
The Director of Sponsorship Strategy works in a high-energy, fast-paced environment partnering closely with our local market teams, corporate programming, National Event & Promotion Team, Marketing Solutions, and National Sales teams in the development, implementation and execution of high-impact, integrated marketing/sponsorship programs across our company platforms (corp & local live events, branded content, digital & social media, OTA entitlements, broadcast media support, podcasting & sports).
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
The Director of Sponsor Strategy facilitates and manages sponsorship-related inter-department communication between programming, promotions, digital, and sales in building out sponsorship/client offering including pricing & packaging. Also works closely with our corporate activation team ensuring a smooth transition to execution & fulfillment for all sold programs.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Main 'architect' in building out company sponsor opportunities around our company initiatives, events, entitlements and custom programs
Develop & oversee pricing, packaging and valuation for all outbound sponsorship offerings
Manages development & execution of division sales collateral
Create & monitor project strategy, timelines, and custom program P&L's
Assist SVP in developing revenue & packaging strategies around corporate tentpole events
Work with Activation Team to manage sponsor implementation and on-site execution
Provide oversight & guidance to Project Manager team who maintain division reports, project advancement and other administrative & fulfillment duties as assigned.
Assist local markets in sponsor inventory management & tracking
Manage incoming sponsor requests & communication with participating markets for national and local sponsorship opportunities
Manage multi market sponsor fulfillment workflow/communication Liaison to strategy/sales support & individual AEs for multi market event requests
Provide strategy support/guidance in developing effective multi market sponsorship programs (client-driven)
Assist in coordinating project-based calls for all related teams
Provide category/client specific leads/examples to markets
Develop sponsor category prospecting profiles
Assist in providing shared best practices/ideas/success stories
Attend client meetings and participate in sponsor presentation opportunities where appropriate
Participate in company sales meetings to present new or updated opportunities
Qualifications

3+ year Event/Sponsorship experience; media experience a plus
