Overview
Audacy's Podcast division is seeking a Coordinator, Podcast Partnership Strategy & Sales Enablement. The role is an opportunity to become immersed in the partnership/advertising side of the podcast industry.
This position is based in Audacy's New York office at the 345 Hudson St. - 3 days/week.
We are looking for a strategic, creative, and critical thinker to support the Podcast Partnership & Sales Enablement department in the day-to-day tasks and communication between internal teams, brand partners, sellers, planning and hosts/talent. This individual should thrive working in a fast-paced environment and be a pro-active, self-starter that takes initiative and anticipates team needs.
Strong and effective communication skills and attention to detail will be a day-to-day requirement, with the goal of becoming an expert across categories and assist with a seamless brand and talent experience.
The coordinator role will report into the VP, Partnership Revenue Strategy & Sales Enablement
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Assist with all elements of custom campaigns (i.e. ideating, creation of production materials and facilitating pre-launch and in flight campaign responsibilities to execution)
Liaison between internal teams to ensure process is being followed for day-to-day shows and campaigns (i.e sales, marketing, planning, data & analytics)
Maintain various tracking documents for internal and external initiatives
Work closely with the data and analytics team to garner and compile relevant client and industry insights to fuel revenue driving decisions
Utilize day-to-day systems and platforms such as DOMO, Megaphone, Chartable, Podsights, and other proprietary and public research tools as needed
Assist with weekly and monthly analysis of show audience and revenue reporting
Monitor relevant news, current events, press and brand deals across digital media industry and relay to relevant internal teams
Ideate with the broader marketing and sales team to develop campaign-specific strategies for podcasts and show hosts, both RFPs and proactive
Qualifications
More About You:
Needs 1-2 years of experience in a digital or media environment
Previous experience working with talent and/or brands is preferred
Experience in the audio and/or branded content sales/marketing space is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
Must be a team player with the ability to collaborate on projects as well as excel in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail
Ability to interact with different levels of management and leadership
Professional acumen, polished presentation/public speaking skills
Additional Information
The anticipated starting salary range for NY based individuals expressing interest in this position is $55,000 - $60,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
