Overview
FTI has an exciting opportunity for and is looking for an experienced Logistics Analyst to join our team and provide onsite support to Surface Warfare Schools Command in Great Lakes, IL. The financial analyst will provide analysis of resourcing requirements for execution year and future year budget planning. The role requires financial analysis, methodologies in managing, evaluating, providing recommendations, reports, and resolutions to support training requirements. The the FTI Analyst will provide direct support to Surface Warfare Engineering Schools Command, specifically financial and facilities training requirements for 13 Schoolhouses and 44 courses of instruction for Navy Enlisted Engineering Ratings.
Responsibilities
Provide direct support to Surface Warfare Engineering Schools Command, specifically financial and facilities training requirements for 13 Schoolhouses and 44 courses of instruction for Navy Enlisted Engineering Ratings.
Advise priority level of learning site facility projects and Technical Training Equipment (TTE) procurement requirements to SWOS Facilities and Contracts Director and SWOS Comptroller.
Review all statements of work, drawings and planning documents and coordinate delivery of project estimates to support directorates for processing and funding. Coordinate identification and support of training program resource requirements across Surface Warfare support directorates.
Identify and analyze Technical Training Equipment and Task Trainer specifications to provide process guidance and review of installation drawings and statement of work packages required to submit to NAVFAC and TSC for approval. Submit and provide tracking of all project funding request documents between SWESC and NAVFAC.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate the supply, material flow, and storage of inventory from the supplier to the customer.
Control flow of materials and/or products to ensure arrival according to schedule and specifications to maximize efficiency.
Work with team/support to ensure that customer requirements are met.
May work with outside vendors to negotiate and coordinate delivery of required inventory. May also coordinate with customs agencies as necessary to ensure timely delivery/receipt of products in the absence of a dedicated Import/Export Specialist.
Complete all other tasks required by command leadership
Education/Qualifications
Active DoD Secret Clearance is required
Bachelor Degree Preferred, will consider equivalent experience
Minimum of 4 years of related experience required
Requires moderate skill set and proficiency in discipline.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be flexible in completing various responsibilities requested by the customer and organize and complete ongoing tasks simultaneously.
Conducts work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
